We are partners in life and behind the lens. The name Tall & Small Media nods to our physical height difference, but our work is driven entirely by a shared creative vision.
We specialize in bold, honest, people-first visual production. From documenting the raw, nostalgic emotion of editorial weddings to crafting high-impact commercial media for brands ready to stand out, we merge storytelling with strategy.
We do not do stiff posing or stale branding. Based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, we approach every project with genuine care, clean aesthetics, and a commitment to imagery that feels intentional, artistic, and entirely true to you.

Do you travel for photoshoots?
Absolutely. While we are based in the Halifax Regional Municipality, we frequently travel across Nova Scotia, Canada, and internationally for destination weddings and commercial projects. Let us know where your project takes place, and we will happily provide a custom quotes.
Can I use the photos for social media and marketing materials?
Yes, but the exact usage depends on the project type. For Personal, Portrait, and Wedding clients, you receive a personal use license allowing you to share, print, and post your images freely. For Commercial and Brand clients, your package includes a tailored commercial usage license that covers marketing materials, web design, and social media campaigns. High-scale print or paid advertising rights can be added as needed.
What is your process for working with brands?
We prioritize strategy over random content creation. Our process begins with a creative consultation to break down your brand identity, target audience, and content goals. From there, we handle mood-boarding, pre-production planning, and the shoot itself. Post-production is managed entirely in-house to deliver a curated, high-end asset library ready for distribution.
What is your turnaround time and how are deliverables sent?
Our standard turnaround time is within two to three weeks for lifestyle and brand sessions, and six to eight weeks for weddings. All finalized, high-resolution assets are delivered via a private, password-protected online gallery where you can download your media directly in high-res or web-optimized formats.
